Internationalization

What is internationalization?

Internationalization is developing your theme so it can easily be translated into other languages. Internationalization is often abbreviated as i18n (because there are 18 letters between the letters i and n).

How to translate

Open POEdit software and open the translate file for translation 

./wp-content/themes/listar-wp/languages/en.pot
Create a new translation from PO Template
Select file en.pot
Select the Language of the translation
Save the translated file as the country code

For example, in Portuguese (Brazil), we save the code as pt_BR.po

The final translated file will be located in the folder

./wp-content/themes/listar-wp/languages/pt_BR.po
