Listing

The Listing Detail Page presents comprehensive information about an individual listing, combining static content with dynamic, widget-based features to enhance user interaction and engagement. The page is divided into three key sections:

  • Information
  • Right Sidebar
  • Bottom Sidebar

Information (Main Content)

This area displays the core details of the listing:

  • Title and featured image
  • Location, address, and contact info
  • Rating and reviews
  • Description, gallery, and custom fields (like pricing, amenities, etc.)

It serves as the central focus of the page, giving visitors all the essential information they need about the listing.

Right Sidebar (Widget Area)

This sidebar enhances functionality with interactive widgets. Typical widgets include:

  • Booking Form – Allow users to request or schedule a booking directly.
  • Contact Form – Enable communication with the listing owner.
  • Claim Listing – Let’s business owners claim and manage their listings.
  • Related Listings – Displays similar or nearby listings to keep users engaged.

This section helps turn passive viewing into active conversion (e.g., bookings, leads).

How to Add Widgets to the Listing Sidebar?

Widgets like the Booking Form, Related Listings, and Contact Form are placed in the sidebar area of the single listing page using WordPress widgets.

Steps to Add Sidebar Widgets

  1. Go to: Appearance → Widgets
  2. Find the Widget Area: [Listar] Listing Right Sidebar
  3. Add Desired Widgets:
    • [Listar] Booking Form – Allows users to send booking requests.
    • [Listar] Related Listings – Shows listings similar by category or location.
    • [Listar] Contact Form – Adds a form for inquiries.
    • [Listar] Claim Listing – Adds a button to let owners claim the listing.
  4. Customize Settings: Configure each widget’s title and display options as needed.
  5. Click “Save” to apply your changes.

Bottom Sidebar (Widget Area)

This area is perfect for showcasing additional, high-value content:

  • Top Rated Listings – Highlights listings with the best user ratings.
  • Related or Recent Listings – Keeps users browsing longer.
  • Custom Widgets – Can include promotions, ads, or seasonal recommendations.
